The City of Forks Animal Shelter is located just south of town at the Forks Airplane Landing on Highway 101. Just look for the little aqua-green building. The shelter hours are typically: Tuesday          12:00 - 2:00 Thursday          12:00 - 2:00 Saturday          10:00 - 2:00 These hours may vary however if the shelter officer is out on an emergency call. The Adoption Fee is the cost of spaying or neutering the animal. All animals leaving the shelter must be spayed or neutered. In addition, a mandatory rabies vaccine must be purchased for ten dollars. The adoption fees are as follows: Male Cats:  $35 Female Cats:  $52 Dogs Spay/Neuter Under 30 lbs:  $52.50 30 - 60 lbs:  $57.50 Over 60 lbs:  $72.50
